Where we deliver

31 Threads currently ships within the Republic of South Africa and selected international destinations, as available at checkout.

All orders are dispatched from our studio in Parys, Free State.

Each order is thoughtfully wrapped in our signature box with tissue, care cards and product cards — a quiet reminder that pieces made to keep deserve to be delivered with care.

Shipping rates

Domestic shipping

  • Standard courier (main centres as defined by The Courier Guy)

– Flat rate of R99 for orders under R1,800
Free shipping for orders of R1,800 and above

  • Outlying / remote areas
    Courier fees and delivery times may be higher for outlying areas. If an adjustment is required, we will contact you before your order is dispatched

International shipping
We now ship selected pieces internationally. Orders are dispatched from our studio in Parys, South Africa and delivered via international courier partners.

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout, with a flat rate applied per order.

Free shipping for orders of R2,500 and above

Duties and Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are payable by the customer upon delivery. These charges are not included in the shipping rates and are determined by the destination country.

Delivery timelines

Domestic shipping

  • Standard delivery to main centres is typically 3–5 days from dispatch.

  • Outlying areas may take longer, depending on The Courier Guy’s network and schedules.

International shipping

  • Estimated delivery time is 5–8 days, depending on destination and customs processing.

These timeframes are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control (courier delays, public holidays, weather, load-shedding, or other service disruptions).

Order processing

We aim to process orders within 1–2 working days after payment is received. During launch periods or promotions, processing times may be slightly longer.

Once your parcel has been booked with The Courier Guy or our international carriers, you will receive tracking details via email.

Local pickup (collection)

If you select Local pickup at checkout:

  • You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready for collection.

  • Collection is by appointment only. Please contact us on +27 79 248 5611 to arrange a suitable time and meeting point.

  • Have your order confirmation handy (digital is fine) when you collect.

Delivery issues, lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel is delayed, marked as delivered but not received, or arrives damaged:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible at studio@31threadscollection.com with your order number and details.

  • We will liaise with The Courier Guy to investigate and work with you on the next steps.

Incorrect address

Please double check your delivery address at checkout.
We cannot be held responsible for delays or missed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at the time of purchase.
