Returns & Exchanges

At 31 Threads, each piece is produced in small, considered batches using precious silk.
For this reason, we offer complimentary size exchanges rather than general returns.
We offer a complimentary 14-day exchange policy in South Africa, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request an exchange for a different size, subject to availability.
Kindly bear in mind that we produce only small quantities of each dress, so we cannot guarantee that an alternative size in your preferred style will always be available.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be:
– in the same condition as received
– unworn and unwashed
– with tags still attached
– in its original packaging where reasonably possible
– accompanied by proof of purchase
To start an exchange, please contact us at studio@31threadscollection.com with your order number and the size you would like to request. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Kindly note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We will confirm the return address and steps once we receive your exchange request.

International orders
We do not offer exchanges on international orders.
If you are unsure about sizing, we recommend contacting us before placing your order and referring carefully to our size guidance.
All international orders are considered final sale. Duties and taxes may apply on delivery and are the responsibility of the customer.
Due to the nature of our small-batch production, we do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind, wrong size selected, or general preference, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours of delivery if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Email studio@31threadscollection.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the garment and the concern. We will review your request and do our best to make it right, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.
